« Sharon Alfassi’s artistic practice shows how the relationship between craft and contemporary art can be porous and fluid, how related techniques match together or interfere in order to create her narratives.
Her practice is at the crossroad of multiple media: performance, installation, writting, costume making.
Sharon Alfassi stages iconic figures — the knight, the cowboy, god, etc. — to question, to explode, to reshape them. Her living pictures are stories deconstructing these ovious clichés. »
